World War II Project

This project was conceived to help build a legacy previously missing from our institution. To prevent the loss of the many achievements and contributions made by the boys and faculty of the Asheville School during the turbulent times of World War II, alumni and past faculty were solicited to turn in any reminiscences about their experiences.

Scope and Content:  In response to a direct solicitation for information about the years 1941-1945, individuals submitted letters, narratives, transcribed oral histories, photos etc.  A file has been created for each respondent.
