 Biographical Statement:  Edward Eisenhart was born in 1920  and died 2001.  He entered AS in 1935 and graduated in 1938.  During his time at the school he was on the staff of and ended as the editor of the Ashnoca; active in student government and was Senior class president; a member of the choir, Dramatic Society, Kit-Kat Club, Mitchell Cabinet, and the Review board; competed with the football and soccer teams (lettered in soccer).  After AS, he graduated from Princeton University (’42), served in World War II; worked as a journalist for United Press International and U.S. News and World Report.  Was a trustee of the school and a long-time financial donor. 

 S/C Note:  This collection consists of items from Eisenhart’s school days.  Publications, such as the Ashnocas all have articles about him; certificates for his athletic and arts participation; speeches/papers he wrote.
